Founded in 2005, Asia Energy Platform (AEP) is a non-profit oriented organization who promotes the application of energy efficient and renewable energy technologies in Asian countries.

亚洲能源平台成立于2005年，为一个非盈利主导的机构，旨在协助亚洲区内推动使用高能效技术和可再生能源技术。

China, India, and many Asian countries are undergoing rapid economic growth. In the course of development, choosing and effectively applying the right technologies will be crucial to resources problems, climate change and many other environmental issues. By closely working with both public and private sectors in the Globe, AEP focuses to facilitate the sharing of successful technology application experiences across the Asian region.

中国、印度与及很多亚洲国家都正处於经济高速增长期，选择适当的能源技术对解决资源、气侯变化及环保等问题尤为重要。亚洲能源平台通过与各国的公共及商业机构合作，著力在亚洲区内分享成功的实践经验，协助推动合理使用和开发相关技术。

AEP's initiatives are primarily driven by our members at a voluntary base. Membership is free, voluntary and open to all practitioners in energy-related disciplines. Our current members come from energy technology suppliers, ESCOs, financiers, generators, electric grids, chemical producers, metal manufacturers, infrastructure developors and many other energy intensive industries.
